Through strategic consultations, honest engagements, and mutual collaborations, CACC is considerate of pursuing and achieving these doable interventions which underpin our overall objective of ensuring academic integrity at every level in Liberia:
a) Academic Crimes Court
b) National Academic Database
c) National Verification Exercise of All Academic Credentials from Nursery to Tertiary
d) Credential Audit in various Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) especially Universities.
e) National Conference (Policy) on Quality Assurance and Quality Control (2021)
f) Reinforcing “Monitoring and Evaluation” at all schools (2021 – 2022)
g) Reassessing or reevaluating all schools with NCHE accreditation and MOE permit in order to ensure full compliance (before end of 2021).
h) Establish integrity clubs at various secondary and tertiary institutions in order to combat bribery, sex for grade, absenteeism, fraud, and all forms of malfeasance.
Note: All of these will be captured and clearly defined in the proposed bill which is to be submitted for enactment anytime soon.
CACC, as a pro-integrity and pro-academic advocacy organization, as well as the lead campaigner against academic fraud in Liberia, intends to:
a) Build genuine partnership with the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the National Commission on Higher Education (NCHE) in pursuit of academic integrity;
b) Mobilize civil society organizations and advocacy groups that are involved with promoting quality education and academic integrity;
c) Work with lawmakers, policymakers, state actors, media outlets, academics, local and international partners to ensure the passage of a bill which would eventually establish an Academic Crimes Court in Liberia. Specific time-bound of actions/activities will be rolled out.
